The Dutch division of IPP Logipal has secured a major three-year contract to supply high-quality pallets to H.J. Heinz BV for product storage and distribution.
IPP Logipal began providing 1.2m x 1m pallets to all Dutch locations of H.J. Heinz BV as of March 2007. All pallets undergo strict quality control procedures to ensure they meet exacting standards.
The pallets are used for shipments to the retail markets across the Netherlands and throughout Belgium.
IPP provides an integrated, flexible service that can adapt to meet the customer’s changing needs. It is also simple to administer.
Heinz is one of the largest food manufacturers in the world and the U.S. based company has leading market positions around the world in tomato ketchup. Heinz is a leader in condiments and sauces, and has annual sales of nearly $9 billion worldwide in 140 countries. Each year, Heinz sells 650 million bottles of ketchup.
Globally, H.J. Heinz is the name behind a wide range of major brands and in the Netherlands these include Heinz, Brinta, Karvan Cévitam, De Ruijter and Venz.
